At this time, the range for Bluetooth Low Energy technology is limited to approximately 100 ft / 30 m.
We have designed our own antenna system and the Chipolo has a range of 200 ft / 60 m.
However, if any other Chipolo™ user's phone/tablet is within 200 ft / 60 m of your Chipolo, you will receive an update with the location of your Chipolo. When this happens, you will see a pin on the map view for your Chipolo. This essentially makes the range limitless once there are enough Chipolo users in your area. As the technology improves, so will the Chipolo capabilities.
