After removing your Chipolo POP from Google's Find My Device app, your Chipolo POP factory resets itself, stops working in the Chipolo app and is ready to be paired again.
In case you removed your Chipolo POP from the Find My Device app while it was out of range of your phone, you need to factory reset it before using it again. For instructions, see How to factory reset a Chipolo POP.
To use your Chipolo POP in the Chipolo app again, you have to remove it from the Chipolo app and add it back. You will be able to add it back to the Chipolo app after pairing it again.
To remove the Chipolo POP from the Chipolo app:
- Open the Chipolo app.
- Tap the selected Chipolo POP on the "List" inside the Chipolo app.
- Scroll down and tap "Chipolo settings".
- Tap "Remove Chipolo".
After you have removed your Chipolo POP from both apps and performed a factory reset (if required), you should start from the beginning. First, use Fast Pair to pair your Chipolo POP to your phone and then proceed to adding it back to the Chipolo app.
To add your Chipolo POP to the Find My Device app:
- Press your Chipolo POP and place it next to your phone.
- Follow the instructions on the pop-up.
To add your Chipolo POP to the Chipolo app:
- Open the Chipolo app.
- Navigate to "List" in the bottom navigation.
- Tap "Add a new Chipolo".
- Tap "Chipolo POP" on the list of available models and follow the instructions.
