To maximize the battery life of both your iPhone and your Chipolo POP, LOOP or CARD, the Chipolo app on iOS does not maintain a constant, active Bluetooth connection. Instead, it connects temporarily when you need to use certain features, like changing the ringtone or taking a selfie.
When you select a feature that requires a connection to be established, the Chipolo app will ask you to connect your Chipolo. As the screen shows, you simply need to:
- Bring your Chipolo close to your phone.
- Double-press the button on the Chipolo.
This creates a temporary connection just long enough to complete the action.
Note for Android users: This behavior is specific to iPhones. On Android, your Chipolo POP, LOOP and CARD maintain a constant connection and you will not be asked to double-press it for these features.
