The Chipolo PLUS, Chipolo CARD (pre 2025), Chipolo CARD Spot, and Chipolo CARD Point models do not have a replaceable battery, so once their battery runs out, they are all eligible for the Chipolo Renew and Recycle program.
The main features of the Chipolo Renewal program are:
- The option to rebuy a Chipolo at a 50% discount.
- The option to recycle your old Chipolo at no additional cost.
How do I know if my Chipolo is eligible for a Renewal?
Chipolo PLUS and Chipolo CARD (pre 2025)
Check the Chipolo app on your phone.
On the main screen (the "List view"), you will see a green notification telling you one or more of your Chipolos are coming to the end of their battery life and are eligible for renewal.
Chipolo CARD Spot and Chipolo CARD Point
Two years after registering your Chipolo, you will receive an email with a 50% renewal discount code for a new Chipolo.
How many Chipolos can you renew at once?
As many as you have that are already eligible for a Renewal.
What about shipping and delivery costs?
The 50% discount does not include free shipping, so shipping costs do apply.
Do I need to reorder the same model and colour of Chipolo?
No, you can choose a different Chipolo model and colour.
How do I send my old Chipolo back?
When you order a Chipolo through the Chipolo Renew and Recycle program, a prepaid envelope is automatically included with your order. When you receive your new Chipolos, just put your old ones in the envelope and send them back to us for recycling, free of charge.
I have an old, unsupported Chipolo. What can I do about that?
