This article is related to the Chipolo ONE Spot and the Apple Find My app.
When a factory reset is performed, the Chipolo ONE Spot or CARD Spot will no longer be tracked by the Apple ID it was paired to. This means the Chipolo ONE Spot or CARD Spot will stop being part of the Apple Find My network and it will stop working in the owner's Apple Find My app. It will, however, still be listed in the owner's Apple Find My app.
To move the Chipolo ONE Spot or CARD Spot to a different owner, the original owner has to remove it from the Apple Find My app.
Follow the steps below to perform a factory reset:
- Press your Chipolo ONE Spot or the button on your CARD Spot for 30 seconds.
- Spot will begin to beep in 1-second intervals.
- Release the button right after you hear the 5th beep.
- After a successful factory reset you will hear a confirmation sound.
