Please note that this article is relevant only for Chipolo models that work exclusively in the Chipolo app (Chipolo ONE, Chipolo Card (pre-2025), etc.), and the new Chipolo models (POP, LOOP, and CARD) if you're using an Android phone.
The Out of Range Alerts is a feature in the Chipolo app that will alert you when you leave your item behind.
To use the full functionality of the Out of Range Alerts feature, your mobile device must meet the requirements outlined below.
iOS devices
Your iPhone or iPad, needs to be running on iOS version 14 or later.
Important: "Out of Range Alerts" are not available on iPadOS devices due to operating system limitations.
Android devices
Your Android device needs to be running on Android 9 or newer and needs to have Google services preinstalled.
