After removing your Chipolo POP, LOOP or CARD from the Apple Find My app, your Chipolo factory resets itself, stops working in the Chipolo app, and is ready to be paired to the Find My app again.
In case you removed your Chipolo from the Find My app while it was out of range of your phone, you need to factory reset it before using it again. For instructions, see How to factory reset a Chipolo POP, LOOP or CARD?.
To use your Chipolo in the Chipolo app again, you have to remove it from the Chipolo app and add it back. You will be able to add it back to the Chipolo app after adding it to the Find My app again.
To remove the Chipolo from the Chipolo app:
- Open the Chipolo app.
- Tap the selected Chipolo on the "List" inside the Chipolo app.
- Scroll down and tap "Chipolo settings".
- Tap "Remove Chipolo".
After you have removed your Chipolo from both apps and performed a factory reset (if required), you should start from the beginning. First, add your Chipolo to the Find My app and then proceed to adding it back to the Chipolo app.
To add your Chipolo to the Find My app:
- Open the Find My app.
- Choose the "Items" tab.
- Tap on the + icon.
- Tap "Add Other Item" and press your Chipolo.
To add your Chipolo to the Chipolo app:
- Open the Chipolo app.
- Navigate to "List" in the bottom navigation.
- Tap "Add a new Chipolo".
- Tap "Chipolo" on the list of available models and follow the instructions.
- After double pressing your Chipolo and hearing a beep, make sure to put your Chipolo as close as possible to your phone.
