To protect users from unwanted tracking, all Chipolos that can be added to the Find Hub app are compatible with unwanted tracking protections on Android 6+ and iOS 17.5+.
If someone else's AirTag, Find My accessory, or any other DULT specification-compatible Bluetooth tracker is seen moving with the user over time, regardless of the platform to which the device is originally paired, an "Item Found Moving With You" alert will be displayed on the user's device, and Chipolo will also start beeping periodically to let you know.
These Safety Alerts are only triggered when the Chipolo is separated from its owner for a longer period of time. If you are moving together with the owner of the Chipolo, the alert will not be triggered.
To set up Unknown Tracker Alerts on Android:
1. Open "Settings -> Safety and emergency -> Unknown tracker alerts".
2. Enable "Allow alerts".
3. Unknown Tracker Alerts are displayed automatically, but there is also an option to trigger a manual scan by tapping the "Scan now" button.
4. If an unknown tracker is discovered and appears to be following you around, you can learn more about it and ring it to help you find it.
